What is the Gallery Collection?
The Gallery Collection is a punk band from Anaslime, CA. We joined together in September of 1998, complied of me, Jared Parsons, vocals, Kyle Adamson, guitar, Justin Krajenbrink, drums, and Billy Agan, bass. The day following our first practice, we kicked out Billy and replaced him with Michael Gonzales. We then traded a couple instruments around and Justin went to bass while Mike went to drums. After our first real show, with F.Y.P, Four Letter Words, Killer D and the Drones, and Thrash Kats, we replaced Kyle with a new drummer, Justin Santabanez, and Justin K. went to bass. We played a party at a friends house, along with the other Katella punk bands. Following that show we stopped playing until July of 1999, when we got back together, replacing Justin S. with Travis Molina on bass and Justin K. went back to drums. We played the Battle of the Bands at Showcase Theater in Corona. We then kicked out Travis and replaced him with Brian Pearce on bass.
What does the Gallery Collection play?
The Gallery Collection plays old skool punk music. Everybody's favorite song by TGC is Freestyle Walking, which was the very first song we wrote together. We mostly cover songs (including Toss My Cookies-F.Y.P, Theme from King of the Hill, The Crusher-Ramones, Hey Suburbia!-Screechin Weasel). We used to have other songs, all of which sucked, including Everybody Hates Me, I Hate the Weables, and Metalhead. We recently threw out all of our cover songs and started fresh. The only original T.G.C. song we still play is Freestyle Walking.
